Michael Clooney works in the fashion business and discovered Revolution Fitness through Instagram.
Unlike many people joining a gym, Michael had a very personal reason for wanting to get back into fitness. Born with congenital heart disease, he had undergone two valve replacements and wanted to find a way to safely return to exercise.
The Challenge
Michael knew he wanted to get back to some level of fitness, but finding the right gym was a challenge.
After his heart procedures, he was understandably anxious and nervous about starting again.
He searched for different gyms before discovering Revolution Fitness on Instagram. The approach and expertise he saw gave him enough confidence to take that first step.
But walking through the door for the first time was still a big moment.
Why He Nearly Didn't Start
Michael admits he was very anxious and nervous before his first session.
With his medical history, getting back into exercise wasn't something he took lightly. He needed to feel comfortable and supported.
Thankfully, his first experience helped put those nerves at ease.
“He just made me feel really relaxed.”
By the end of that first session, Michael was feeling completely different.
“Got over the session and was absolutely buzzing afterwards.”
And he hasn't looked back since.
The Turning Point
For Michael, one of the biggest things that made the difference was accountability.
He found that simply having the structure and support to keep turning up made exercise something he genuinely looked forward to.
After around a month of training, he began noticing changes.
He felt that his heart rhythm had improved, he felt stronger, and his cardio had definitely improved.
What started with anxiety gradually became something he describes as an essential part of his life.
The Results
After around one month of training, Michael noticed:
He felt his heart rhythm had improved
He felt stronger
His cardio had improved
He developed greater confidence around exercise

He found accountability to be a major part of his progress
Here’s what Michael had to say:
